Meet the Founder
After my first son was born, I became passionate about sustainability and reducing our toxic load. With a background in luxury spas, I was accustomed to using high-end product lines. However, the naturalist in me didn’t love most of the ingredients in these professional products or the waste from the plastic bottles.
From my Okanagan kitchen, with a $20,000 line of credit, I embarked on a mission to create shampoo and conditioner bars that offer the same quality and results as salon products, but in a clean, sustainable, low-waste form. And so began The High-End Hippie.

We are here to bring heart back into business, cultivating a model that leads with energetic alignment and is rooted in community, wellness, and sustainability.
I am a 4/6 Reflector. Reflectors make up less than 1% of the population. I have a pulse on the vibe of any group or community, and I'm able to see and feel what others often miss. I have a deep sensitivity to energy, and I’m able to mirror it back in a way that transforms the world around me.
I started the High-End Hippie because I noticed a gap in the marketplace for effective, non-toxic shampoo bars. Leveraging my Reflector superpower, I saw an opportunity to create an uncompromising product that serves the higher good of both people and the planet.
Our Values
Growing up on a hobby farm in rural Nova Scotia, I learned from an early age to be mindful of our resources, especially when it came to water conservation. This upbringing instilled in me a deep respect for nature and laid the foundation for our company’s values. Inspired by this natural, resource-conscious lifestyle, we locally craft our hair care bars in small batches.
We are committed to sustainability by using organic harvesting practices to thoughtfully create our own botanical extracts. This allows us to develop custom formulas that effectively target the most common and toughest hair and scalp concerns, all while providing a luxurious, spa experience.
