Shampoo:
1. Wet your hair and the shampoo bar.
2. Massage the bar directly on your scalp.
3. Lather, rinse, and repeat.
*Note: Oiliness will reduce any shampoo's ability to lather. We recommend double cleansing for a deep clean and to add volume.*

Conditioner:

1. Soften the bar under warm water.
2. Apply the bar to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair.
3. For best results, use a wide-tooth comb to gently brush through the hair, starting at the ends and working your way up. Be gentle, as wet hair is more prone to damage.
4. Rinse.

Yes, it does! The hair has a pH between 4.5-6 (making it acidic). If a shampoo has not been pH adjusted, it will cause the hair cuticle to swell become dry, frizzy and prone to split ends. 

The best way to get the maximum washes out of the bars is to let them dry completely in between uses. 

We recommend storing the bars on a soap dish or in our zero-waste shampoo bag in a dry location where air can circulate around them. Keep bars and dishes away from direct water stream and do not leave them sitting in water. 

Yes they are!  We worked work a cosmetic chemist to create a unique anti-frizz technology, that protects the hair against damage and defines curl patterns without weighing them down. Our anti-frizz technology comes from a variety of different emollients that are naturally derived, sustainable, eco-certified, readily biodegradable.  

Our anti frizz technology also help lock in moisture from water based ingredients like glycerine, aloe and proteins. Although the balance is key, too much hydration and hello Ms. Frizz!

All the bars are colour safe. We use a gentle surfactants to keep the pH balanced and avoid accidental colour removal.

Even the Clarify. Technically it's a daily shampoo we call it clarify since it performs the closest to a true clarifying shampoo.

This could be for a couple of reasons:

In order to formulate a great bar, ingredients need to have a high HLB (Hydrophilic–lipophilic balance). This allows the shampoo and conditioner to wash off the hair readily and not leave a grimy residue. 

The type of surfactant (cleaning agent) used is important. Some surfactants clean too well and excessively stripe oil from the hair. In response the body will produce extra oil to compensate. 

Since our products are consumable good and we are a company focused on sustainability, we don't accept returns.
